and then you could paint them silver, so that they look like just the cheap steel plugs........ did i mention i like hiding junk in plain sight.....

Hey, I’m just glad you didn’t call them “freeze plugs”.

Next time though, you don’t have to worry about masking them. Just carefully smear some grease over them and wipe it all out later.
